Huntingdon Academy is a two-form entry school located five minutes walking distance from Nottingham city centre. There are 453 children on roll and the school has a 52 place nursey. Today, our year 5 scientists have been busy investigating the durability, absorbency and strength of different materials! 🧻💦
The children put their scientific skills to the test, making observations, comparing results and discovering which materials were best suited to different purposes.
We were particularly impressed with their fantastic teamwork, communication and collaboration skills as they worked together to carry out their experiments! 🌟👏
