Welcome to Year 3. We have two classes in this year group; Miss Webb is 3C and Mrs Cousins and Mrs Towse is 3T. On this page you will be able to find out about our curriculum and what might be happening in our day.

3C
3C’s chosen author is Joseph Coelho. He is a British performance poet and author who was elected as poet laureate in 2022 and is best known for his poetry collection Werewolf Club Rules. Some of his other works include Luna Loves Dance, My Beautiful Voice and Happy Here.
3T
Kevin Tsang is a bestselling children’s author along with his wife Katie. In addition to the Space Blaster series, they are the co-authors of the young fiction series Sam Wu is Not Afraid and the Dragon Realm books.

Trips and Experiences
In year 3, we love to enhance our curriculum with fantastic experiences. During our Extreme Earth topic, we visit the Peak District to learn about rocks and soils. For our Groovy Greece topic
At the end of each of our topics, we have a final experience. Examples of these are Ancient Olympics afternoon, performing our own magic show and creating an advert to encourage people to visit Nottingham.
